What’s in the box

  • Two sets of Perimeter seals (tops + sides) with pre-applied adhesive strip – discreet, low fuss and low-profile finish.  These are ecoMaster’s famous Draught Dodgers.
  • Bottom draught excluders (the standard model we fit on ~80% of doors) with fixings
  • We email you full install videos (no printed guide — easier to watch than read)

What you’ll need (not included)

  • Tape measure, pencil, square
  • Fine-tooth saw (for trimming – straight cuts only – cornered mitre joined are pre-cut)
  • Drill/driver (for bottom excluder fixings)
  • Cleaning wipes / methylated spirits (for surface prep)
  • Scissors / utility knife, small step stool

Skill & time: Beginner-friendly | 60–90 mins per door

How it works (simple but smart)

  • Creates a continuous seal around the sides + top so wind can’t sneak in
  • Adds a bottom sweep (our proven all-rounder) for a proper 360° seal
  • Door still opens/closes smoothly

Long-lasting materials that won’t compress, crush, sag or fall off

How to Install your Front and Back Door Kit

Watcher: Seal your front & back timber doors step-by-step

  1. Install the draught excluder (RP3)
  2. Install the perimeter seal (Draught Dodgers)

Readers: Here are the installation instructions (but really, seriously, it’s much better if you watch the videos).

Step 1: Gather Your Tools

    • Front and Back Door Draught Proofing Kit
    • Cleaning cloth
    • Pair or scissors
    • Tape measure
    • Pencil
    • Screwdriver (Philips head)
    • Hacksaw or drop saw (to trim to fit)
    • Drill

Step 2: Measure Your Door

Measure the width and height of your door and the available space on the frame to ensure your components will fit cleanly. Mark where each component will be installed, following the included video instructions.

Step 3: Fit the Raven RP3 Seal – Draught Excluder on the bottom of your door

    • Trim the Raven RP3 to the width of your door using a hacksaw or drop saw (better).
    • Attach it to the bottom of the inside face of your door as per the video instructions.
    • Adjust the screw mechanism so that the seal drops fully when the door closes, and lifts when it opens.

Step 4: Install the Draught Dodgers

    • Use the included packer to position the timber mouldings at the correct distance from the door face.
    • Peel back the high-performance adhesive tape to fix the Draught Dodgers in place.
    • Install the compressive seal into the groove, then trim the ends neatly to suit.

The result? A flexible perimeter seal that works even if your door has a wonky gap (which most do).

This creates a nearly invisible draught barrier that doesn’t drag or make your door harder to open.

The results you’ll feel

  • No more icy hallway blasts
  • Rooms hold heat longer
  • Less street noise + dust
  • Heating and cooling cycles less = lower bills

Which solution should go where?

FAQs (fast answers)

Will the door be harder to shut?
Set correctly, no. If your door is difficult to shut, more than likely the installation video was not watched and the packer was not used.  🙁

Can I use this on aluminium doors?
No — this kit is for timber doors only.
